Network Marketing Thoughts Are Things

In network marketing, thoughts are things. What you think about in your business will eventually manifest itself into reality. This is not spooky quack stuff. This is reality and anyone who is involved in the industry that has seen this happen to them can testify as to the truth of this powerful concept.

In the first chapter of Think And Grow Rich there is a story about a man who thought his way into a partnership with Thomas Edison. You can do the exact same thing in your network marketing business.

The problem is most people in this industry think their way to failure as oppose to thinking their way to success.

Thinking success in your business is one of the first steps that you HAVE to take if you want to create a successful business. If you do not conceive success in your own mind first you will never experience success in reality in your business.

Ask any leader how much they thought about success and I guarantee they will tell you ALL OF THE TIME!

However, the large majority of distributors think about failure as oppose to thinking about success. Then when they fail, they respond "I knew this wouldn't work."

Here's a common response that I hear from new distributors who are getting started with a new company...

"I'll give this a try."

GIVE THIS A TRY??? Are you kidding me??? One of my distributors on my team was training (it's nice to hear someone in your downline train by the way) and he said "Trying is simply giving yourself permission to fail." You don't TRY to build a successful network marketing business. You either do what is necessary to be successful or you don't do what is necessary to be successful. It's that simple.

When someone says that they will give this a try, that's a clear indication of the negative thoughts that are flowing in their mind about their chances of success in the business.

Let me conclude by sharing with you two stories of how thoughts are things in network marketing.

Tony Rush, a multiple six figure earner in the direct sales industry use to imagine even when he was broke a little scenario in his mind. This scenario involved him waking up in the morning, going to the bank and making a deposit for $20,000.

The bank teller asks him what does he do for a living. The reason why the bank teller asks this question is because Tony was in the bank last week making a very similar deposit.

Tony responds that he would love to tell but he's in a rush right now because he is on his way to the airport to fly out to the Caribbean with his family. He gives the teller his business card and tells the teller to call him later on at a time that he should have landed.

He use to think about this scenario all the time even when he was broke and had no chance of this ever becoming a reality.

Do you know that a few years later, this EXACT scenario happened to him and played out EXACTLY the way he use to envision and think about it?

Tony recognized that his thoughts are things and that what he thinks about in his business will eventually manifest itself into reality.

I also had a similar experience in my business. I always thought about being one of the trainers on the network marketing team that I am a part of in my company. The team has over 200,000 distributors and in order to be one of the trainers, you have to be a six figure earner and have to be selected by the leader of our team to be a part of the training team.

Well I haven't earned the six figure income yet so I figured that I would never train on the call until I became a six figure income. However, I still thought about training on the call.

I record the calls for the team so I'm typically on the speaker line to record the call and also help out in case something happens (i.e. like the trainer gets disconnected or we have to bridge our line into another line.)

One day I'm not sure what happened but whoever was suppose to be training didn't show up. I'm frantically calling the different trainers and can't get anybody on the line. Finally I get one of them and he says he can't do it because he's about to get on a flight. He suggested that I go ahead and do the call.

So I went ahead and trained on the call. Everybody was very impressed and even the leader of the team (a gentleman who earns over $700,000 a year in network marketing) thanked me for stepping up to the plate and doing the call.

I believe the reason why this happened is because I thought about training on the call so much that it eventually manifest itself into reality. This isn't the only time I have done this in my network marketing business either.

I thought about having an organization all across the country and that has happened. I thought about being featured in a magazine article about the company I am with and that has happened. I thought about being the presenter of the business opportunity and being one of the company trainers in my local market and that has happened.

All of these things have happened to me because I thought about it constantly and those thoughts eventually became reality.

So always remember, thoughts are things in your network marketing business. What you think about will eventually happen in your business.
