What if there was a way that you could leverage the awesome marketing power of Robert Kiyosaki and the Rich Dad brand to build your MLM business? Would that be something you would be interested in doing?
While this strategy isn't one of the 7 strategies that I personally use to build an endless stream of prospects for my MLM business, I know of a number of successful distributors who use this strategy. They don't just restrict themselves to Robert Kiyosaki either.
So how does this strategy work?
Robert Kiyosaki has a company called "Rich Dad Education." It is a partnership with a company known as Whitney Information Network. WIN offers training and education on a wide variety of topics including real estate investment, stock market investment and other business and investing strategies.
Under the brand of Rich Dad Education, they offer free workshops all across the world for free. Their main workshop is called Learn To Be Rich and it is a 2 hour class that teaches you how to put the lessons of Rich Dad Poor Dad into action.
You can learn more about Rich Dad Education and their free workshop by visiting their Rich Dad Education website.
So what does this have to do with you and your business?
Think about it. You are involved in the network marketing industry. Your best prospect is someone who is interested in improving their financial lives. Now you could talk to random people on the street and at the mall and hope that you come across the right person. In fact, I can pretty much assure you that if you talk to enough people, you would come across the right people.
However, what if there was a way to get in one room where the chances of encountering the right people dramatically increases? That is what you have here at a Rich Dad Education event.
So here is the strategy. What you want to do is go to the event. Bring your notebook and your pen and prepare to take good notes. Part of the fundamentals of building a successful network marketing business is committing to personal development and an event like this is a great way to continue your personal development.
What you want to do is meet as many people as possible at this event. At the very least, you should be able to meet 4 people. The person in front of you, behind you, on the left hand side of you and on the right hand side of you.
Your goal is NOT to TRY AND PITCH THEM on your business right then and there. I'm not sure what the seminar's policy is but many of these events have a no recruiting policy and that is a great way to get kicked out.
Instead, all you want to do is find out more about the people you meet. What do they do for a living? How long have they been doing it? What prompted them to attend the seminar? Questions like that.
If you like the answers that you receive, ask the people you meet if they have a business card. If they do, get it from them. If not, get their name and contact information so you can follow up with them later on.
The free seminar will probably have a pitch to attend a several day seminar in which you will have to pay to attend. You can choose for yourself if you want to attend that seminar or not. If the money isn't going to take food on the table, I recommend that you do take the course. The worst thing that will happen is you will learn something. The best thing that happens is you learn something and you meet more people who could potentially join your business.
I will tell you this...you will likely have an even better class of prospects at the paid seminar because these are people who have clearly indicated that they are willing to invest in their own personal development. In fact, one of my good friends in the industry, who earns in excess of $100,000 a year in commissions from his MLM business recruited his #1 leader at a paid seminar.
Keep in mind, this strategy can be used not just for Robert Kiyosaki. You can use this strategy for ANY company that uses a seminar business model to teach people strategies and techniques to improve their financial situation. Companies such as Trump University, Peak Potentials and so on.
Once you have their contact information, now you can follow up with your contacts. Introduce yourself. Remind them that you met at the seminar. Complement them. Then ask them a question that will let you know if they "keep their financial options open?" If they do, you can expose them to your opportunity.
Utilizing this strategy is a great way to find quality prospects for your MLM business. So why not let Robert Kiyosaki use his advertising dollars to promote the seminar and then you leverage the power of that advertising to build your own MLM business?
